Our Team

Dan Griffith serves at executive vice president and chief financial officer for CPX Energy. He brings a diverse and deep background in accounting, finance, tax and alternative investments, and is responsible for the creation and implementation of all financial and accounting processes as well as financial modeling and planning. 

Prior to CPX, Dan was a Tax Manager at a public accounting firm, Henry & Peters, PC, where he specialized in complex tax and accounting matters related to oil and gas partnerships. In this role, Dan was responsible for managing the finances of CPX’s predecessor entity. 

Before joining Henry & Peters, Dan worked as a tax and accounting specialist for a number of alternative investment firms, including Tolleson Wealth Management, Inc., and Maverick Capital, Ltd. Previously he was an associate at KPMG, LLP in Dallas. 

Dan earned his B.A. from Wheaton College and his Master in Public Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
